our history and our approach to your dental care
Coach House Dental Care is a long-established practice housed in the original stables and coach house of a Victorian townhouse near Wrexham town centre, where we provide both Private and NHS dental care.
Many local people will remember the original owner, Major John Felix Richards. In 1985, the practice was taken over by Mr. Roger Handley, who successfully ran it until April 2025. From April 2025, ownership has now been transferred to Mr. Ahmer Ali. Over the last six decades, the practice has grown to have six air-conditioned surgeries equipped with the latest dental technology. Between all the professionals at the practice, we can offer you a wealth of experience, and our pursuit of additional professional study and qualifications enables us to deliver the latest in high-quality dental and cosmetic treatment.

Our approach to dental health is firmly based upon prevention. When treatment is needed the first consideration would be minimal intervention in order to create naturally beautiful smiles with minimal use of the drill – this may involve straightening teeth with Invisalign Go which is the latest almost invisible braces. Many patients couple this with whitening their teeth or using a tooth coloured filling material bonded to their teeth to correct any minor imperfections.
